Badger Oil Equipment
And the Pump

When you visit Badger Oil Equipment you will be greeted by this rebuilt Milwaukee Pump and Tank pump. This pump and BOE reflect the history of the Petroleum equipment industry in Wisconsin, the Badger State. Both originally came from the early 1930's. However, while the pump represents the industry's past, BOE has been helping keep the Vehicle Fueling Equipment industry moving forward into the 21st Century.

As the housing construction market was suffering in the early 1930's, Emory Clark started to build gas stations instead. One of the original founders of BOE sold service station equipment to the new Clark Oil Company for many years. In 1948 he incorporated with two other partners to form the company which still exists almost sixty years later. Wanting a convenient centralized location to operate from, BOE moved into it's current location in 1964. Ed Ettl became involved in BOE in 1969 when he and one of the former partners bought the company from the senior partner. Ed then bought out his partner and became President. Not old enough to drive a car at the time, Ed's son Steve Ettl was able to help out by sweeping and doing other shop work. Now Vice President, Steve is primarily responsible for the daily operations of BOE.

BOE specializes in the installation and service of Vehicle Fueling Equipment in SE WI and N IL. HQ located in western Milwaukee County with service technicians additionally located throughout SE Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
